• Demolition
• Cleaning of construction worksites (interiors and exteriors)
• Moving materials
• Digging
• General labour

Qualifications

• Physically fit and must be able to carry and lift 25–50 lbs
• Self-motivated
• Team player
• Strong sense of safety awareness and attention to detail
• Good at following directions
• Trustworthy
• Must have CSA steel toe boots and proper outdoor gear for the weather

Wage: + $18 per hour, based on experience, skill and performance. Hours: 30–40 hours per week. Benefits: Health and dental benefits available after 3-month probationary period. Job Description

We are seeking a skilled carpenter. You must be able to work in a high paced team environment and have an interest in building a career building homes in Vancouver. We offer full health benefits for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Work independently and comfortable with forming, rough carpentry and knowledge of finishing carpentry
• Select tools, equipment or materials appropriate for tasks
• Help keep work areas tidy and maintain a clean and safe job site
• Ability to work at heights following WorkSafe BC procedures at all times

Core Skills & Requirements

• Experience with both concrete forming and wood framing
• Reliable and available to work Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Committed to safety at all times
• Physically fit and capable starting and completing demanding tasks both indoors and outdoors
• Must have your own hand tools and reliable transportation

Job Description

We are seeking an amazing Site Supervisor with experience leading residential construction teams, managing schedules to achieve specific milestones with a track record of building homes in Vancouver within the last 2 years. You must be a team player, have home construction experience, hardworking, with solid integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to work through a detailed schedule to complete high quality homes on-time and on budget
• Actively working on-site "on the tools" and leading team members with daily duties
• Maintain clean work areas, tools or equipment to maintain a clean and safe job site
• Ability to work at heights following WorkSafe BC procedures at all times
• Working with clients throughout projects to ensure we are constantly meeting and exceeding their expectations

Core Skills & Requirements

• Previous experience as a Lead Carpenter
• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager multiple single family and duplex construction projects in Vancouver
• Experience working through all building phases starting at demolition through finishing
• Experience working with a project/construction management software
• Must be willing and able to learn new ways of doing things
• Reliable and available to work Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Committed to safety at all times
• Must have your own hand tools and reliable transportation
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Experience

• Certificate of Apprenticeship or Trades Qualification Certificate as a journeyman Carpenter recognized by the Province of BC
• Carpentry +2-years
• Meeting and exceeding Vancouver's residential building code requirements
• Red Seal is an asset

Job Type: Full time. Starting Wage: $35 per hour + bonuses and will go up based on experience.
